I filed February 23rd, Accepted February 24th. ![]() I need some type of Tax wizard to help me out. They're going in and recalculating and changing it back, so that would explain why some haven't seen a change yet, maybe?Īlso, it would make sense because they don't want to amend it so they just decided to do calculations, cancel them after they get the different they owe you from just taxes (I went from 12% bracket to 10% bracket due to the -10,200 which would mean more back on W2 wages? Have no idea) and are adding them together for the final check and sending it the way they did stimulus checks. so my theory (it's just a thought, don't be to harsh if it sounds crazy.) I just went back to redownload from a comment I read and it went back to THE ORIGINAL RETURN AMOUNT. It showed the -10,200 and a new number from 1,146 federal to 1,724 federal and my state (KY) didn't opt so it showed I owed $24 more dollars than originally ($58). I was reading on Facebook about how to see it on turbo tax so I downloaded my transcript again. Rather than trust strangers on the internet, contact your local resources to get accurate answers.
